Most INCOSE members agree, systems engineering is not just for systems engineers. But if systems engineering belongs in the disciplinary engineers toolkit, how should it be taught? This paper describes the authors observations in teaching systems engineering within a disciplinary context, and in particular in trying to make it a normal part of that disciplinary practice.
