This paper discusses the systems approach used in the design and development of laboratory test capabilities used to integrate GPS capabilities onto the F-14 aircraft. Modifications made to the existing simulation/stimulation capabilities, radar target generators and airframe wiring will be discussed as well as the installation and alignment of a three axis tilt table, the design of a stand-alone workstation, and the use of COTS test tools.
