This paper describes a new approach to system modeling and analysis predicated on the construction and execution of object-oriented models of systems. Our approach uses constraints to describe a system’s response behavior to stimuli, it incorporates a solver to execute the model, and it provides a tailorable user interface that allows one to define the modeling symbology.
