Fundamental to the efficient and effective communication of complex ideas is a set of terms, the definitions for which are sufficiently detailed to provide the precision required by the ideas to be communicated. In order to efficiently and effectively accomplish the objectives of the NCOSE Systems Engineering Process and Systems Architecture Working Groups, a terminology subgroup has been established to provide definitions that meet the needs of both working groups.
