The Evolving Joint Perspective document which was the precursor to the current Capstone Concept for Joint Operations was analyzed in relation to Meta-systems Theory in this case study which was done in the 2004 timeframe. The basic thrust of the new document is the same as the original document so this analysis is considered to still be relevant.
