Architects, from the early Egyptians to modern systems architects, are specialists in the creation and building of complex structures, qualitatively different from those that have gone before. The architect, working with and acting as the agent of the client, creates and manages the design to maintain system integrity and to help achieve client satisfaction with the built system.
