In this paper, we report on the development of the University of Arizona Ontology Stack (UAOS), an ontology stack to support digital engineering initiatives at the University of Arizona. We present examples of how the UAOS leverages semantic web technologies to contribute to digital engineering research, discuss the challenges of integrating ontologies from multiple sources into a cohesive stack, and highlight topics of interest for future research.
