From Local Chapters to Global Strategy
The Chapter Advisory Committee is the eyes and ears of the INCOSE Chapters — established to ensure that the perspectives, challenges, and innovations emerging from local chapters around the world reach the heart of INCOSE’s leadership and strategic decision-making.
INCOSE’s chapter network spans more than 70 chapters across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Oceania sectors. Each chapter faces unique regional challenges — from differing industry landscapes and regulatory environments to varying levels of access to systems engineering education and certification. The Chapter Advisory Committee exists to gather these diverse signals, synthesize them, and channel actionable insights to the INCOSE Board of Directors and technical leadership.

The Chapter Advisory Committee operates as a continuous feedback loop between chapters and central leadership. Unlike one-time surveys or annual reviews, this committee maintains a standing dialogue — meeting regularly throughout the year and reporting formally to the Board of Directors on its findings.
The committee is composed of representatives drawn from each of INCOSE’s three geographic sectors, ensuring balanced global coverage. These representatives are experienced chapter leaders who understand both the local realities of running a chapter and the broader strategic goals of INCOSE as an organization.
