Theme: Architecting Sociotechnical Systems for a
Connected and Contested World

CSER brings together the community of systems scholars to discuss, workshop, and advance engineering topics related to systems, embracing a definition where the humans who impact and are impacted by the system sit within the system boundary. Hosted next to Redstone Arsenal, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and Cummings Research Park, CSER 2027 will explore modern complex systems and the user, societal, organizational, physical, and process elements tied to them, with special topics advancing aerospace, defense, and space systems engineering.

INCOSE International Symposium 2027

Theme: Architecting Intelligence: Engineering Complex Systems
All submissions must address original, previously unpublished work. All accepted presenters must register and attend IS 2027 in person.
IS 2027 convenes the global systems engineering community at a critical inflection point. Intelligent technologies are reshaping every domain—from autonomous platforms and cyber-physical systems to digitally integrated enterprises and human-machine teaming environments. Systems engineers are no longer just building systems; we are architecting intelligence itself.
