AISE (the Italian Association of Systems Engineering), the Italian Chapter of INCOSE, is pleased to announce the 2026 National Event, “Mind the System: Human Factors as a Core SE Discipline,” which will take place in Rome on 27–28 October.
In a world characterized by increasing technological complexity, the 2026 edition will focus on INCOSE’s Vision 2035, highlighting the integration of Human Factors as a fundamental pillar of modern Systems Engineering. The event aims to foster dialogue among industry, academia and institutions on how Systems Engineering can guide the development of safe, sustainable and human-centered sociotechnical systems.
The event will bring together representatives from academia, industry, public institutions and the professional community, with the objectives of: Exploring the current state of the art and future perspectives of Systems Engineering; Promoting the exchange of experiences, case studies and innovative approaches; Showcasing Italian expertise within the international Systems Engineering community; Encouraging interdisciplinary dialogue among Systems Engineering, artificial intelligence, sustainability and complexity.
The programme will include plenary sessions featuring prominent speakers, technical presentations, round-table discussions, networking opportunities, and exhibition areas for sponsors and technology partners. An official exam session for the INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification will also be held alongside the event.
