The Call for Submissions is officially open for the Conference on Systems Engineering Research (CSER) 2027!
Join leading researchers, practitioners, and educators from around the globe at this premier international forum to share innovations and advance the field of systems engineering.
- When: 11-14 April 2027
- Where: Von Braun Center, Huntsville, AL, USA
- Theme: Architecting Socio-Technical Systems for a Connected and Contested World
CSER brings together the community of systems scholars to discuss, workshop, and move forward engineering topics related to systems. CSER embraces a system definition where the humans that impact and are impacted by the system are within the system boundary.
CSER 2027 will explore modern complex systems and the user, societal, organizational, physical, and process elements tied to them. Hosted in the heart of Huntsville and next to Redstone Arsenal, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and the Cummings Research Park, special topics at CSER 2027 will explore advancing the aerospace, defense, and space systems and their engineering ecosystems.
The organizing committee for CSER 2027 seek contributions that advance the state of the art of systems engineering and digital engineering in application domains ranging from aerospace, defense, energy, healthcare, infrastructure, and others.
Submissions and Deadline
We welcome a variety of contribution types, including full papers, extended abstracts, poster abstracts, and proposals for panels, tutorials, workshops, or discussions.
The deadline for full paper submissions and proposals is 1 November 2026. The deadline for extended abstracts and posters is 15 January 2027.
