SysML v2 Exchange | INCOSE Webinar | 22 July 2026

The 2026 INCOSE International Symposium (IS26) provided an unparalleled showcase of emerging systems engineering research and practice. Since the release of the SysML v2 specification, interest in SysML v2 by MBSE practitioners and researchers has grown significantly, as has the representation of SysML v2 content within the IS26 technical program. This presentation will provide a very cursory summary of the IS26 content that directly address SysML v2, with the intent of highlighting the expanding reach of SysML v2, emerging work being performed to advance the state of the art and practice of MBSE that leverages the new capabilities and characteristics of SysML v2 and the associated System Modeling API and Services specification. Such a summary can only scratch the surface, and interested viewers are highly encouraged to reach out to the authors and obtain the artifacts (papers and/or presentation slides)
