Founded in February, 1998, the Southern Maryland Chapter follows the INCOSE International Mission, Vision and Goals.

Abstract:
This presentation will show how to fully digitally transform an organization’s existing culture and eco-system to enable MBSE in a way that connects MBSE (system models) to existing digital assets for requirement and behavior verification at every phase of the product life cycle to enable a balanced solution across all product systems. The eco-system will be federated (born across existing hardware assets) and democratized (allows all subject matter experts to participate at every level – organization, supplier, and customer) eco-system, can be created so that existing digital assets can come to bear while still protecting Intellectual Property (IP).

The Southern Maryland Chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) began in February 1998.  The core group of organizers recognized the sizable Systems Engineering infrastructure  in the Patuxent River area created by the presence of the Naval Air Systems Command, the Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division and Field Activity at St. Indigos), the Naval Air Station, and a growing community of Industry partners.
