Abstract:
In 2004, INCOSE introduced its Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification program. Through an application, evaluation, and examination process, INCOSE grants qualified system engineers the status of INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). In 2008, INCOSE introduced an entry-level Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) credential and an extension for Acquisition (Acq). In 2010, INCOSE introduced a senior-level Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) credential that adds an oral interview to determine systems engineering leadership and accomplishments.
Certification through INCOSE formally confirms an individual’s qualifications – it’s an effective way for others to recognize your Systems Engineering knowledge and experience. INCOSE’s multi-level certification program helps both individuals and organizations break through to the next level, providing a portable and independent internationally-recognized competitive advantage.
