The Call for Submissions is officially open for the Conference on Systems Engineering Research (CSER) 2026! Join leading researchers, practitioners, and educators from around the globe at this premier international forum to share innovations and advance the field of systems engineering. - When: 6-9 April 2026
- Where: George Mason University, Arlington, VA
- Theme: Intelligent Digital Twin-enabled Systems Engineering for 21st Century Sociotechnical Systems
The 2026 Theme The CSER conference, established in 2003 by the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC), continues its tradition of exploring rigorous academic research. Our 2026 theme reflects the critical convergence of digital twin technologies and systems engineering practices. As systems become more complex and interconnected, this theme emphasizes the need for innovative approaches to design, analysis, and decision-making within sociotechnical environments—where technological factors must integrate seamlessly with human and organizational principles. We are seeking contributions that advance the state of the art in both Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering. Submissions and Deadline We welcome a variety of contribution types, including full papers, short papers, abstracts, and proposals for panels, tutorials, workshops, or discussions. The deadline for all submissions is 30 November. Don't miss the opportunity to contribute your expertise to this important discussion! We look forward to reviewing your groundbreaking work and seeing you in Arlington.
