Welcome to the Colorado Front Range Chapter

The INCOSE is a professional society with the mission to foster the definition, understanding, and practice of world-class Systems Engineering in industry, academia, and government.

INCOSE Colorado Front Range is the local INCOSE chapter, covering the entire State of Colorado. Our purpose is to foster the definition, understanding, and practice of world class Systems Engineering in industry, academia, and government within the Colorado Chapter. Our local members represent the aerospace, defense, energy, telecommunications, medical devices, and manufacturing industries, as well as government and academia. We welcome systems engineers from all backgrounds and industries and encourage you to join our our chapter.

Abstract:

Effective communication and seamless collaboration are vital for the success of any systems engineering endeavor. Whether you're working on complex projects, coordinating with diverse teams, or managing intricate systems, leveraging the right tools can significantly enhance efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes.

Join us for a fun, fast-paced, funny, interactive, energizing, and incredibly informative tutorial, tailor-made for systems engineers. Business Improv techniques are rooted in behavioral science, dynamic discussions, and real-world outcomes. Each participant learns every exercise in real-time – no one is “singled out” as an example and you learn from doing, rather than watching. Participants will walk out with proven tools and techniques that they can apply immediately – in-person, virtual and hybrid. 

Biography:

Sean Monahan (core faculty and solutions designer) has spent the last decade and a half linking improvisation to business through the behavioral sciences. Sean’s leadership work in Business Improv includes emphases on team skills, fostering a collaborative corporate culture, whole body listening, busting blocks to creativity, conflict management, dyadic relationships, creative and adaptive problem solving, leadership, influence, and fostering agile cultures. Over the last 15 years, Sean has led programs for a number of companies, business schools and organizations.

Based out of Chicago, LA & New York City, Business Improv® is a world-class leader in developing experiential learning On-Site, Virtual (synchronous), Online (asynchronous) programs, Blended (both), Hybrid (multi-location), and Open Enrollment programs for b-schools and businesses.
