Abstract:
This presentation highlights the Systems Engineering Vision 2025, which was chartered by the INCOSE Board of Directors as a comprehensive update to Vision 2020, and released at the INCOSE IS in July, 2014. The Vision is intended to inspire and guide the direction of systems engineering stakeholders worldwide, and serve as a starting point for collaborative efforts to realize this vision. It describes advances in systems engineering practice, theory, and education that are needed to respond to the changing nature of systems, system applications, technologies, and the work environment. The vision document, entitled 'A World In Motion, Systems Engineering Vision 2025', is available from the INCOSE website at http://www.incose.org/AboutSE/sevision.
