Dear Members, Friends, & Colleagues: The November 2025 INCOSE Seattle Metro Chapter (SMC) General Membership meeting will be held in-person and virtually at Cascadia Pizza in Bellevue, WA on Wednesday, 11/12/25 at 6:00PM. Our featured speaker is Benjamin McNutt, Acting Director of Systems Engineering and Integration at Sound Transit (see full bio below).

Featured Speaker Bio: Benjamin McNutt Title: Acting Director, Systems Engineering and Integration Education: Texas Tech, BS, Mechanical Engineering; MBA Benjamin McNutt joined Sound Transit in 2012 as a controls engineer, specializing in building management and emergency ventilation systems. He progressed through several Systems Engineering roles with increasing responsibility in stations, garages, commissioning, and integration before becoming Acting Director in November 2024. The Systems Engineering department includes teams dedicated to traction electrification, train control, communications, and building systems. Previously, McNutt spent nine years at Kroger, where he oversaw the construction and maintenance of retail stores.
