Meeting Description:
Please join us for our In-Person meeting. MBSE can be defined as integrated models representing requirements, structure, behavior, rules, solution architectures, data quality, and model relationships. How should MBSE data be packaged, and what makes it reusable? The traditional Technical Data Package (TDP), defined by MIL-STD-31000, is the information standard requested by the US Government from its subcontractors. Except for functional, logistical and nonfunctional requirements, MBSE data representations are essentially missing from the TDP definition. Assuming there is value in MBSE data packaging and reuse, what is the role of MBSE data and process standards? And how do these concepts apply when each company manages its own preferred set of software application tools? The presentation will focus on NAS9300-500, and the data standard consortia that are working on the MBSE problem. INCOSE is coordinating many of the current efforts, and there are opportunities for its members to contribute to both the near-term and future solutions. Come join the discussion.
