About the Presentation:
With the push toward model based engineering more and more models are being integrated into our program’s ‘digital threads’. This presentation looks at all that work as asks a fundamental question, “What is your why?” and why the art of story telling is just as powerful and needed as the technical message being told with the model.
About the Speaker:
Christopher Burns is a Digital Engineer and Model Based Systems Engineer with SAIC. His career experiences range across all phases of the system life cycle with customers such as NASA, DoD, intelligence community, and commercial organizations. System design ranging from system inception/concept design, test, and evaluation through end-of-life extension programs. Areas of particular interest currently focused on building integrated domain knowledge and data silos into an integrated/interactive/holistic set of system models with MBSE at core of the design process as the Single Source of Truth sometimes known as building the Digital Thread.
