William Quintero Restrepo is a digitalization expert for Siemens Energy and holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, MSc in Systems Engineering and a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering. His research interests are in computer graphics, computational design, and optimization of processes related to product design. Dr. Quintero will provide an overview of how AI-driven product development, in conjunction with systems engineering, can overcome the inherent limitations of human-centric design. This session will also demonstrate how AI effectively supports various stages of the engineering lifecycle through practical engineering case studies.
