Abstract:
Transforming system models across different Model-Based System Engineering tools is pivotal for advancing industry Digital Engineering (DE) workflows, expediting the delivery of mission/safety-critical systems to market. Overcoming vendor lock-in barriers is essential to realize true DE, enabling data interoperability among tools. We address the need to harness innovative tools that facilitate DE adoption within enterprises, while also supporting bi-directional workflows for large-scale U.S. Department of Defense programs.
We offer insights into automatic system model transformation via a plugin/app, facilitating the export and publication of Unicom’s System Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and IBM Rhapsody into a fully functional Cameo model, and importing Cameo models into Rhapsody. The process encompasses all model components, diagrams, elements, and hierarchy, accompanied by user-configurable controls and settings.
We’ll discuss new products being released in 2025 including both Cameo and Rhapsody to SysML v2. Both will be compatible with IBM’s version of SysML v2. In late 2025 we’ll provide SysML v2 import capability for those tools.
Please attend my passionate live presentation. Discover how your team can streamline engineering efforts, accelerate project delivery, reduce workforce costs, and open new doors for SysML v2 tools.
