Abstract:
orchideo | easy SSP is the leading tool supporting the System Structure and Parameterization (SSP) Standard, and the SSP Traceability standard, recently released by the Modelica Association in version SSP 2.0.
The SSP standard was created to support the collaboration of all parties involved in the development and lifecycle evolution of a hierarchical complex system simulation model and its variants. In addition, SSP Traceability enables traceability along the necessary processes and thus ensures the credibility of the results.
The subsystems or components of such a system model can be any model types with defined input-output interfaces but are typically models in either the Functional-Mockup-Interface (FMI) Standard, or in SSP Version 2.0, using the Modelica Language. The SSP standard is a formalized, executable Interface Control Document (ICD) for the system model. It forms the basis for model verification and validation of such system models.
SSP also offers “Layered Standards”, to add extensions, such as artefact and workflow documentation, model reports and process artifacts, as is the case with the SSP Traceability standard.
In this session, we will briefly present the SSP-standard and its use cases, and the SSP-Traceability Layered standard that adds traceability metadata. The main part of the webinar will be a live demonstration using an example model using the orchideo | easy SSP cloud-based tool.
