The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) is a not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and disseminate the transdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. INCOSE is designed to connect systems engineering professionals with educational, networking, and career-advancement opportunities in the interest of developing the global community of systems engineers and systems approaches to problems. We are also focused on producing state-of-the-art work products that support and enhance this discipline’s visibility in the world.

The 2025 INCOSE SySTEAM mini-conference is a free, two-day online event intended to provide individuals from around the globe with the opportunity to convene, discuss, and exchange ideas relating to the intersection between STEM/STEAM education and systems competencies. The event will feature talks & posters showcasing SySTEAM-relevant projects, efforts, and ideas from the SySTEAM community members and other members of the public, as well as opportunities for roundtable discussion and small-group discourse with other attendees. The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity for SySTEAM community members and other systems-minded individuals from around the globe to take center stage in sharing, discussing, and showcasing ideas and work relevant to SySTEAM’s interests. Attendees are invited to interact and collaborate with their colleagues from around the world in characterizing, contemplating, and challenging the existing and emerging ideas in the realm of systems competency education, in furtherance of SySTEAM’s long-term goal of “improving education for all students, everywhere”.
