Whether in Project Management, Quality Management, Human Systems Integration, or beyond, professionals from all sectors are invited to share their insights and experiences.

Systems Engineering plays a vital role in shaping the complex systems that drive our world, from technology and infrastructure to social and environmental networks. We invite contributions from a wide range of industries, including Aerospace and Defense, Transportation, Healthcare and Biomedical Sciences, Public Planning, Social Systems, and Environmental Sustainability. We especially encourage innovative and emerging applications that push the boundaries of Systems Engineering, demonstrating its evolving impact across disciplines.

As with past conferences, WSRC 2025 is seeking submissions for Presentations and Tutorials. These formats are a great opportunity to share and discuss on-going work, novel approaches, instruction and interesting challenges.

For WSRC 2025 we are adding a Full Paper option. Authors desiring formal, technical paper feedback, and a reference-able publication in the Proceedings of the INCOSE Regional Conferences, may submit a full-length, original paper. In addition, select full-length papers will be offered a Fast-Track to publication in the SE Journal. Papers selected for the Fast-Track are considered as having passed the initial review for publication.

 Call for Presentations

Presentations provide the opportunity for practitioners to share their work, novel approaches, or interesting problems addressed without writing a formal paper. We encourage authors to submit detailed abstracts for high quality presentations addressing challenges in the key domains and emphasis areas above. Sessions are 40 minutes: 30 minutes for presentation with 10 minutes for Q&A. Initial submissions for presentations includes an abstract of no more than 1000 words and should be submitted using the submission site for Presentations at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wsrc25. The submission should include the following elements:

• Authors: all involved authors (only the presenting author gets a discount)
• Title: “Presentation:” Title of presentation
• Must include the word “Presentation:” in the Title field
• Abstract: Summary of the topic. Include specific related industries or applications. Describe what the audience will take away from the presentation.
• Provide background on the presenter and his/her qualifications to provide the talk.
• Keywords: Include ~4-6 words to aid in searches.

Each abstract will be peer reviewed, and judged on key aspects: originality, topic relevance, technical soundness, and contribution to the practice of systems engineering. Presentations must not be used for the promotion of any commercial product or interest, and further must not promote or voice an opinion on political or religious matters Presentations must be original work that has not previously been presented to INCOSE (if it has been previously presented elsewhere, this should be noted). Joint authors must nominate a single point of contact. Presentations must use the presentation template (available in the downloads section of the WSRC 2025 webpage); if not used, the presentation may be rejected without review. Evaluation Criteria is contained in the Reviewer Evaluation Workbook template. Please note that accepted presentations will be posted on the INCOSE Paper and Presentation Library but are not included in the Proceedings of the Conference. The link will be provided to registered participants.

Call for Student Posters

Students in all phases of education are encouraged to submit abstracts for student poster presentation on WSRC 2025. We expect a range of undergraduate, masters, and doctoral-level submissions.

The student poster submission must include:

• Authors: all involved authors (only the presenting author gets a discount)
• Title: “Poster:” Title of poster
• Must include the word “Poster:” in the Title field
• Abstract: Provide a summary of the poster topic. Describe the main points of the poster. Provide background on the poster presenter.
• Keywords: Include ~4-6 words to aid in searches.

Poster information must be submitted through EasyChair, https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wsrc2025 and use the poster template (available in the downloads section of the WSRC 2025 webpage).

Posters will be peer reviewed for topic relevance and technical soundness. Accepted posters are expected to be printed and presented in-person by the authors.

Call for Tutorials

Tutorial proposals for the following types of classroom instruction will be considered:

• Professional Development Tutorial: intended for both practicing systems engineers who want to expand their systems engineering skills and seasoned professionals who are new to INCOSE concepts of systems engineering. It is important not only to instill in the tutorial participants a new skill, but also to make it clear how that skill can add real value to the participant’s enterprise.
• Advanced Technology Tutorial: intended for practicing systems engineers. This introduces new technologies with potential to add real value to systems engineering practice although that potential has not yet been demonstrated.
• Best Practices Implementation: intended for practicing systems engineers who are interested in understanding how to apply systems engineering best practices with a domain-specific emphasis.

Proposed Tutorials may be 2, 4 or 6 hours long.

The proposal must not contain a sales presentation for the presenter or the presenter ’s company, and shall not contain proprietary data.

• Authors: all involved authors (only the presenting author gets a discount)
• Title: “Tutorial:” Title of tutorial
•         Must include the word “Tutorial:” in the Title field
•         Abstract: Include the topical outline, the Learning Objectives, and proposed duration. Include a brief biography of the presenter(s).
• Keywords: Include ~4-6 words to aid in searches.

If a tutorial is accepted, then one presenter will be eligible for a discounted event registration rate. No other compensation will be provided to the presenter. Each tutorial submittal is reviewed by at least 3 members of the INCOSE review team. Evaluation Criteria is contained in the Reviewer Evaluation Workbook template. Tutorials must use the presentation template (available in the downloads section of the WSRC 2025 webpage).
