INCOSE Welcomes IQNOX to Its Corporate Advisory Board, Pioneering Systems Engineering Excellence

San Diego, Calif., May 30, 2025 – The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE), a not-for-profit membership organization uniting over 26,000 systems engineering professionals and Corporate Advisory Board (CAB) associates across more than 65 chapters and 50 working groups, today proudly announces the addition of IQNOX (https://iqnox.com/) to its CAB. This collaboration underscores INCOSE’s commitment to forging strategic global partnerships that unite and advance the global systems community under its 2024–2028 Strategic Plan.

About the INCOSE Corporate Advisory Board (CAB)
The CAB is INCOSE’s premier industry and academic partnership forum, composed of leading organizations that provide strategic guidance, co-create high-value content, and help shape the future direction of the profession. CAB members engage directly with INCOSE leadership to develop cutting-edge research, influence competency frameworks, and ensure that INCOSE offerings—from certification pathways to technical standards—reflect real-world needs and emerging trends.

The Value of Partnership
Partnerships through the CAB enable INCOSE to:

  • Co-Innovate: Leverage combined expertise to produce flagship reports, webinars, and educational programs that establish best practices across industries.
  • Amplify Reach: Tap into CAB members’ global networks—spanning aerospace, healthcare, sustainability, and beyond—to broaden awareness and adoption of systems engineering principles.
  • Ensure Relevance: Continuously align INCOSE’s products (e.g., the Systems Engineering Handbook, SE Vision 2035, SE Journal) with evolving technology and market demands.
  • Deliver Impact: Strengthen value for both individual practitioners and corporate stakeholders by demonstrating measurable ROI—such as accelerated time to market, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.

As a leading provider of end-to-end product lifecycle management and strategic systems engineering services, IQNOX brings a wealth of practical insights and innovative methodologies to INCOSE’s Thought Leadership pillar. “IQNOX is honored to join the INCOSE Corporate Advisory Board, and I’m especially excited to represent IQNOX in the CAB,” as the CAB Representative said John G. Tesmer, Chief Operating Officer. “We’re eager to share the systems engineering insights we gain from our clients and, in turn, bring the best of INCOSE’s thought leadership back to them. We’re particularly excited about advancing the connection between systems engineering, product and application lifecycle management, and strategic business outcomes.”

IQNOX’s Value to the INCOSE CAB

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Expertise: With deep experience in digital transformation and model-based systems engineering, IQNOX will guide INCOSE in developing robust, data-driven frameworks that span concept through decommissioning—ensuring that INCOSE’s competency models and certification pathways remain at the cutting edge of industry practice.
  • Agile Systems Integration: IQNOX’s proven track record of integrating complex software and hardware systems with agile delivery methods will inform INCOSE’s event and program design, enabling more hands-on workshops, hack-athons, and rapid-prototyping sessions for members worldwide.
  • Business-Engineering Alignment: By linking systems engineering metrics to strategic business outcomes (e.g., time-to-market reduction, risk mitigation, cost-optimization), IQNOX will help INCOSE articulate clear ROI for practitioners and corporate sponsors—strengthening the case for sustained investment in professional development.
  • Innovation Catalyst: IQNOX will co-sponsor INCOSE’s Cross-Sector Innovation labs, bringing real-world use cases from healthcare, aerospace, and sustainability projects to drive creative problem-solving and multi-disciplinary best practice sharing across the membership.

Strong partnerships, as the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) reminds us, “don’t happen by accident. They take intentional planning and need to be continually monitored and evaluated.” INCOSE has embraced this guidance by intentionally building alliances that co-create value, enhance member experiences, and secure long-term stability through high retention. ASAE membership experts further note, “member retention brings long-term stability. It’s built on engagement, value, and connection, and it starts the day a member joins.”

This commitment to global collaboration also echoes the United Nations’ call to “enhance the global partnership for sustainable development,” mobilizing multi-stakeholder alliances to share knowledge, expertise, technology, and financial resources in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. Paul Vallee, Managing Director of the BestCities Global Alliance, captures the spirit of these alliances: “We seek out partners to be able to do things we wouldn’t be able to on our own—to expand our skillsets, resources, and offerings. That’s how you create something of value.”

Joining IQNOX on the 2025 INCOSE Corporate Advisory Board are fellow industry and academic leaders, including Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.; Wayne State University; ASE – Advanced Systems Engineering, LLC; RealmOne; BTS Software Solutions; SAFRAN (SystemGie); the University of South Australia (funded by SESA); Florida Institute of Technology; Studio SE, Ltd.; Auburn University; Albers Aerospace; and Ansys Inc.

By expanding its network of global partnerships, INCOSE will deepen its community impact, tailor programs to diverse audiences, and drive innovation that transcends borders—ultimately ensuring collective success and resilience in meeting the world’s most complex engineering challenges.
