The Institute for Systems Engineering launches new Don’t Panic! Guide: Don’t Panic! The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Configuration Management
[For immediate release]
The Institute for Systems Engineering (IfSE) is pleased to announce the tenth addition to the ‘Don’t Panic!’ series; Don’t Panic! The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Configuration Management by Adriana D’Souza and Sandrine Gonthier is now available on the IfSE online store.
This guide aims to describe in a simple and straightforward way the purpose and the key objectives that make up the very essence of Configuration Management. It provides keys to address Configuration Management calmly, dispelling the perception of its complexity and unattractiveness and sharing its added value.
"I’m genuinely excited to see this book come to life. I’m truly grateful to everyone who made it possible. I hope our readers enjoy it as much as we enjoyed co-creating it." - Sandrine Gonthier, Chair of INCOSE Configuration Management Working Group.
“I am really excited about the publication of the Don't Panic! Guide on Configuration Management with Sandrine and INCOSE. As Configuration Management is not taught in schools, I hope this is a good introduction into the topic or a refresher for anyone who wants to upskill on this topic” - Adriana D'Souza, Co-Chair of INCOSE Configuration Management Working Group.
Outgoing Technical Director of IfSE, Professor Jon Holt adds, “The application of configuration is an essential part of any Systems Engineering endeavour, that impacts every aspect of any systems development. The addition of this book serves to further broaden the scope of knowledge covered by this series.”
