Call for submissions open: INCOSE EMEASEC 2026 – Bringing Human Aspects to the Center of Engineering

The Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sector of INCOSE is delighted to announce that the Call for Submissions for the EMEA Systems Engineering Conference (EMEASEC) 2026 is officially open!

We invite you to contribute your novel research, insights, and experience to our community at the Linköping Konsert & Kongress in Linköping, Sweden, from 29 August to 2 September 2026.

Conference Theme: Bringing Human Aspects in the Center of Engineering

Inspired by the pivotal role Systems Engineering plays in developing complex systems, EMEASEC 2026 will focus on the dramatic shift brought about by the Industry and Society 5.0 transformations. These changes demand the seamless integration of technical, organizational, and human elements. This conference serves as a key platform to advance the successful practice of human-centered systems engineering.

We encourage submissions that broadly align with this vital theme, as well as any other relevant topics related to the latest advancements in systems engineering practice, research, and application.

Key Dates for Submission

We welcome submissions across several formats, including papers, presentations, panels, tutorials, and business meetings. Please note the following important deadlines:

  • 16 January 2026: Tutorials and business meetings submissions due
  • 20 March 2026: Papers, paperless presentations, and panels submissions due
  • 10 May 2026: Notification of acceptance
