Welcome to the INCOSE Charleston Lowcountry Chapter. We are a local community of professionals consisting of systems engineers well as others that utilize “systems thinking”. INCOSE members are not only systems engineers by trade, training or profession, but we’re all dedicated to excellence in the practice and involvement in strengthening the SE community of Charleston, South Carolina.

The Charleston (Lowcountry) Chapter of INCOSE will be hosting Dr. Wael Ibrahim at our next virtual Chapter meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1830.

Presentation of the ECPI Systems Engineering Program with a focus on Mechtronics
Speaker: Wael M. Ibrahim, Ph.D, An electrical engineer with a Ph.D. from Old Dominion University, Dr. Ibrahim joined ECPI University in 2003. He is an expert is time-resolved ultrafast spectroscopy; nonlinear optics and second harmonic generation; semiconductor switching; and optical setups and lasers. Widely published in professional journals, Dr. Ibrahim is a much sought-after conference and journal reviewer, most recently, for two Department of Education panels: Upward Bound Math and Science and Veterans Upward Bound programs.
